Financial economics is a branch of economics that focuses on the way how resources are used and distributed in financial markets. In financial markets decisions are made under uncertainty and hence financial decisions often take into account the future events. The programme is designed to provide the participants to understand how decisions are made using time, risk, opportunity cost and information.
